Microsoft OneNote for Mac has some new features

Good news Mac users, Microsoft has given OneNote some new features that will increase productivity. The new improvements have made OneNote a top 10 free app in the Mac App Store.

OneNote for Mac now lets you add audio notes. This nothing new in the windows environment as it is already capable of audio notes. This new feature in OneNote for Mac allows users to record meetings and other events.  This will be especially useful for students or business professionals during meetings as you can take notes and record what’s being said all in one file.  Users will be able to typed notes that are synchronized with their audio recordings.

Another new feature is the ability to recover deleted notes.  If you client on the View tab, users will now see a “Deleted Notes” option that will show everything that has been deleted over the last two months.

Microsoft has brought another Windows feature to other platforms, including OneNote for iPad, iPhone, Mac and Windows 8.1 tablets.  Notebooks that are saved to Microsoft OneDrive can now be searched for handwritten notes also.
